Advocacy in Action: Real-World Campaigns
What works, what doesn’t — and how real people made change happen.
Ordinary Citizens. Extraordinary Outcomes.
From small town bylaws to national court battles, advocacy is alive in Canada. Discover real-world examples where grassroots action made a difference — and learn what strategies helped them succeed.
Introduction
Why Real-World Campaigns Matter
Success stories show what’s possible — and how you can be part of it.
There’s no better inspiration than real Canadians standing up — and winning.
These stories prove that advocacy isn’t just for lawyers or politicians. It’s for teachers, farmers, parents, nurses, and neighbours. The path is never easy, but when strategy meets courage, ordinary citizens shape policy, change laws, and hold power to account.

In this section, we showcase case studies of advocacy in action:

-
What sparked the campaign
-
What tactics were used
-
What obstacles had to be overcome
-
And what the outcome tells us about what works
These aren’t just stories — they’re templates for what you can do in your community, your province, or your country.
Example One
The Challenge to the Emergencies Act (Federal Court Ruling, 2023)
What Happened:
In response to the 2022 Freedom Convoy protests, the federal government invoked the Emergencies Act — granting extraordinary powers to freeze bank accounts, restrict movement, and suppress protest activity. This decision was widely criticized as excessive and unconstitutional.

The Advocacy Effort:

-
Legal groups, civil liberties organizations, and independent citizens launched coordinated legal challenges, arguing the Act was not justified.
-
Multiple parliamentary committees were pressured to investigate.
-
Public awareness campaigns brought the issue to mainstream attention — including social media campaigns, town halls, and independent media coverage.
-
Over 9,000 Canadians submitted testimony or evidence to inquiries.
The Outcome:
In early 2023, the Federal Court ruled that the invocation of the Emergencies Act was unconstitutional, violating Section 2 of the Charter (freedom of expression and assembly). The court emphasized that existing laws were sufficientto manage the situation — making the use of the Act unlawful.
Why It Matters:
This case proved that coordinated citizen action, legal advocacy, and public pressure can force accountability — even at the federal level. It also set a precedent that emergency powers cannot be invoked lightly or without scrutiny.
Example Two
Pushing Back Against Overreach: The Truehope Legal Battle
Overview
When Health Canada attempted to shut down Truehope Nutritional Support Ltd. for selling a natural supplement called EMPowerplus—used by thousands to manage mental health conditions without pharmaceuticals—it sparked a fierce legal and constitutional battle. Truehope’s founders, including David Stephan, fought back with the support of their customer base and legal counsel. This was more than a business fight; it was a precedent-setting struggle over bodily autonomy, health freedom, and government overreach.

What Happened
Health Canada demanded that Truehope stop distributing EMPowerplus, claiming it was an unauthorized drug. When the company refused—citing the harm it would cause to thousands of users—Health Canada raided their offices, blocked shipments, and pushed for legal action.

Truehope took the government to court. In a landmark 2006 decision, the Alberta Provincial Court ruled in R. v. Truehope Nutritional Support Ltd., stating that the company had acted out of necessity to prevent harm to vulnerable Canadians. The court acknowledged that Health Canada had failed to consider the real-world impacts of their prohibition. Truehope won the case.
Why It Matters
This case remains one of the most important examples of successful citizen resistance against bureaucratic overreach. It showed that ordinary Canadians—when organized and principled—can defeat powerful institutions that overstep their bounds.
How MST Got Involved
Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) interviewed David Stephan in 2025 during one of our Tuesday Zoom sessions, helping to reintroduce this story to a new generation of concerned Canadians. We also promoted the documentary Epiphany: The Truehope Story, which explores the emotional and legal dimensions of the case and its implications for health rights in Canada.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Legal systems can still work for citizens—when evidence, strategy, and public pressure align.
-
Strategy: Use storytelling and media (like documentaries and interviews) to shape public perception and grow awareness.
-
Impact: Even federal institutions like Health Canada can be held accountable when communities unite.
Example Three
National Citizens Inquiry: Investigating the COVID-19 Response
Overview
The National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) was a citizen-led, independent initiative launched in 2023 to investigate Canada’s pandemic response. Chaired by Manitoban Ken Drysdale and supported by a panel of commissioners from across the country, the NCI held hearings in 10 cities, heard over 300 witnesses—including doctors, lawyers, economists, and everyday Canadians—and produced over 1,200 pages of documented findings. The inquiry was funded entirely by individual donations and driven by volunteers determined to expose the truth behind public health mandates, lockdowns, and vaccine policies.

What Happened
As mainstream institutions refused to critically evaluate the pandemic response, the NCI stepped into the gap. The hearings were broadcast online, with transcripts and expert testimony made publicly available. The final report—Are Children Safe in Canada?—presented 476 recommendations and exposed deep failings in the Canadian response, including censorship, coercion, lack of scientific transparency, and harm to children, the elderly, and small businesses.

The report received national and international attention, particularly for highlighting constitutional violations, government overreach, and ethical failures in public health policy. It also formed the foundation for renewed calls for legal accountability and reform.

Why It Matters
The NCI proved that ordinary Canadians could organize an initiative with more transparency, compassion, and integrity than many official government inquiries. It gave a voice to the silenced and documented evidence ignored by legacy media.
How MST Got Involved
Manitoba Stronger Together played a key role in promoting the NCI process from the very beginning. Many MST members testified, volunteered, or participated in local outreach. MST also hosted regular Zoom debriefings and analysis sessions to explore the implications of the testimony and final recommendations. We continue to share the findings of the NCI across our platforms to ensure Canadians do not forget what happened.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: If institutions fail us, citizens can create their own mechanisms for truth and accountability.
-
Strategy: Use public hearings, independent media, and expert networks to build credible, alternative narratives.
-
Impact: The NCI has laid a blueprint for future citizen-led inquiries into government misconduct.
Example Four
Challenging Unjust Leadership: The PC Party of Manitoba's 2024 Leadership Vote
Overview
In 2024, the Progressive Conservative (PC) Party of Manitoba held a leadership election that stunned many grassroots members. Despite receiving the most raw votes from party members, leadership candidate Wally Ferris lost the race due to a points-based system that dramatically weighted votes from low-turnout ridings. The result exposed structural flaws in how political parties—especially private organizations like the PCs—can engineer outcomes that may not reflect the will of the majority.

What Happened
The PC Party used a voting system that allocated 100 points per riding, regardless of how many votes were actually cast. This meant that a riding with 76 votes cast (e.g., Selkirk) could be worth the same number of points as a riding with over 1,000 votes (e.g., Fort Whyte). In essence, votes from low-turnout ridings had exponentially more value than votes from high-turnout areas.
Ferris won the popular vote—but lost on points. The party had voted to adopt this system earlier in 2024, with no formal opposition at the time. Many party members later expressed regret and frustration as the real-world consequences became clear.

Why It Matters
This incident reveals how internal election rules—especially within private organizations like political parties—can disenfranchise members and manipulate outcomes under the guise of “representation.” It demonstrates the need for political literacy, vigilance, and engagement at every level of internal party governance.

How MST Got Involved
Manitoba Stronger Together closely analyzed the leadership race, offering educational blog posts, Zoom discussions, and infographics that explained the points system in plain language. MST members also encouraged others to get involved in party reform and to understand the implications of voting structures before it’s too late.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Winning the popular vote doesn’t guarantee victory when internal rules override democratic principles.
-
Strategy: Demand transparency and member consultation in party governance; educate members on the fine print.
-
Impact: Exposing flawed systems helps prevent future manipulation and inspires reform from within.
Example Five
Freedom Convoy 2022: A Turning Point in Public Protest
Overview
What began as a grassroots protest by Canadian truck drivers opposed to vaccine mandates evolved into a national and international symbol of peaceful civil disobedience. The Freedom Convoy 2022 saw thousands of Canadians descend on Ottawa—and cities across the country—to protest federal COVID-19 mandates, travel restrictions, and authoritarian government overreach. Despite overwhelming public support in many communities, the movement was met with censorship, financial retaliation, and eventually the unprecedented invocation of the Emergencies Act.

What Happened
The protest initially formed in response to cross-border vaccine mandates for truckers, but it quickly broadened to include Canadians from all walks of life. Convoy supporters organized mutual aid, fed the homeless, and held peaceful rallies for weeks. The federal government, rather than engaging in dialogue, froze bank accounts, arrested organizers, and used anti-terror legislation to dismantle the protest.

Legacy media and political elites branded the movement as “dangerous” and “extremist,” despite a lack of evidence for such claims. Independent journalists, citizen livestreamers, and advocacy groups provided alternative coverage that revealed the convoy’s true spirit and peaceful nature.

Why It Matters
The Freedom Convoy shattered the narrative that all Canadians supported the government's pandemic measures. It also revealed the fragility of civil liberties under pressure, including the weaponization of financial systems and the media against lawful dissent.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Peaceful protest can be a powerful force—but it must be paired with legal preparedness and media strategy.
-
Strategy: Build decentralized support networks, document everything, and control your own messaging.
-
Impact: The Freedom Convoy changed the national conversation and exposed the lengths authorities will go to suppress dissent.
Example Six
Are Children Safe in Canada? — A Groundbreaking Report on Youth Harm
Overview
In 2024, the National Citizens Inquiry released a landmark investigative report titled Are Children Safe in Canada?—a sweeping 1,280-page document that exposed the extensive harm caused to children during Canada’s pandemic response.
The report, the product of six months of cross-country testimony and research, highlights failures in education policy, healthcare access, psychological well-being, and family integrity.

This was the first inquiry of its kind in the world to comprehensively examine how government policies during COVID-19 affected children’s rights, development, and safety.

What Happened
Drawing on testimony from doctors, mental health experts, educators, parents, and children themselves, the report detailed a devastating pattern of neglect and coercion. Among the key findings:

-
Increased rates of anxiety, depression, and self-harm in children and teens
-
Developmental delays due to extended school closures and isolation
-
Coercive vaccine campaigns in schools without meaningful parental consent
-
Disruption of essential healthcare services for vulnerable children
-
Suppression of dissenting voices within educational and medical institutions
The report offered 476 recommendations for reform—including the prohibition of future school closures without legislative oversight, the protection of parental rights, and the creation of independent child safety review bodies.

Why It Matters
This report rewrote the national conversation around pandemic policy by centering the most vulnerable: our children. It shattered the myth that Canada’s response was “safe and effective” for all and demanded that policymakers answer for the harm caused.

How MST Got Involved
Manitoba Stronger Together was deeply engaged in this process. MST helped promote the hearings, hosted special Zoom briefings on the report’s findings, and mobilized members to share the report with school boards, MLAs, and local media. MST also distributed a simplified summary to help busy parents and educators digest the key takeaways.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: When systems fail children, it is our duty to step in and speak out—even when it’s uncomfortable.
-
Strategy: Use credible, evidence-backed reports to engage public officials, arm parents with knowledge, and demand policy change.
-
Impact: The report continues to inspire legislative proposals, school board debates, and public awareness campaigns across Canada.
Overview
In the face of fractured opposition parties and manipulated voting systems, Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) launched a targeted Voter Education Campaign ahead of the 2025 federal election. The goal: help Canadians understand how their votes translate into seats—and how “vote splitting” can inadvertently hand power to parties they oppose. This campaign combined grassroots education, data analysis, and strategic communication to empower citizens with the tools to vote wisely and effectively.

What Happened
Using data from Elections Canada, MST analyzed past federal riding results across Manitoba and beyond. We identified swing ridings where the conservative or freedom-oriented vote had been split between multiple parties, leading to Liberal or NDP victories—despite those candidates receiving a minority of total votes.

We created blog posts, visual maps, and simplified breakdowns explaining First Past the Post (FPTP), the consequences of divided voting, and how to read your riding's electoral history. MST also hosted Zoom workshops that taught citizens how to identify “safe seats” vs. “winnable ridings,” and encouraged collaborative decision-making between like-minded voters.

Why It Matters
Millions of Canadians are frustrated with the direction of the country—but many don’t realize how their vote can unintentionally support the very system they want to change. Voter education is critical if electoral momentum is to shift. Knowledge is power, especially under a system designed to divide and dilute opposition.

How MST Got Involved
This campaign was entirely developed and delivered by MST volunteers and researchers. We created digital resources tailored to Manitoba ridings and shared them nationally through partner networks. Our goal was not to tell people who to vote for—but to show them how voting works, and how to vote strategically based on facts, not slogans.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Political frustration means little without political literacy.
-
Strategy: Educate citizens using real data and accessible tools; empower them to make informed, strategic choices.
-
Impact: MST’s campaign helped unify fragmented voting blocks and sparked broader conversations about electoral reform and civic responsibility.
Example Eight
Standing with the Persecuted: Supporting Pastors, Professionals, and Whistleblowers
Overview
During the pandemic era, numerous Canadians—particularly pastors, doctors, scientists, and public servants—faced fines, job loss, censorship, and even jail time for defying mandates or speaking out. Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) stood in solidarity with these individuals, recognizing that true advocacy means defending those who take real risks to uphold conscience and truth.

What Happened
From Pastor Artur Pawlowski’s repeated arrests for holding church services, to Dr. Charles Hoffe’s professional silencing for raising vaccine safety concerns, Canadians across professions paid the price for standing up. Others, like whistleblower nurses or dismissed military personnel, faced media smear campaigns and loss of income.

MST stepped in with practical support—spreading awareness of legal cases, helping raise funds, writing letters to media outlets and elected officials, and ensuring these brave voices were not erased from public memory.

Why It Matters
The true test of a free society isn’t how it treats the compliant—it’s how it treats the dissenters. Advocacy must go beyond rallies and statements. It must include protection and support for those whose personal integrity costs them everything.
How Advocates Got Involved
Various advocacy groups launched several initiatives:
-
Profiles in Courage blog series highlighting persecuted Canadians
-
Coordinated campaigns to write elected representatives on behalf of jailed or fined individuals
-
Facilitated donations to legal defense funds
-
Hosted Zoom interviews with pastors, doctors, and whistleblowers to let them tell their stories directly
These efforts helped keep their stories alive and reminded Canadians that the fight for freedom is often paid for by a few on behalf of the many.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: If we abandon the persecuted, we abandon the principle of freedom itself.
-
Strategy: Create systems of support, raise public awareness, and document injustices before they are buried.
-
Impact: MST’s advocacy helped restore dignity to victims of state overreach and gave Canadians concrete ways to take action.
Example Nine
Building Alternative Media: Challenging the Legacy Narrative
Overview
Mainstream media in Canada—often funded by government subsidies—has consistently failed to represent dissenting perspectives, especially during the COVID-19 era and its aftermath. In response, MST began actively supporting and collaborating with independent journalists, citizen broadcasters, and alternative media platforms that prioritize truth, transparency, and open debate over government talking points.

What Happened
As Canadians searched for answers and authentic stories, they found that traditional media outlets were either silent or overtly hostile toward anyone questioning official narratives. In contrast, platforms like Rumble, Gab, Substack, and independent podcasts became lifelines for truth-seekers.

MST embraced these platforms early, migrating much of our content—including video interviews, press releases, and investigative blogs—away from censor-prone channels like YouTube and Facebook. We also featured journalists such as David Freiheit (Viva Frei), Rebel News reporters, and others whose work aligned with the MST mission.

Why It Matters
Information is power—and when access to honest information is suppressed, democratic decision-making is compromised.

Building and supporting parallel media ecosystems is essential for long-term cultural renewal and political accountability.

How MST Got Involved
MST took several steps to support alternative media:
-
Hosted livestreams and interviews exclusively on uncensored platforms
-
Promoted independent reporters covering stories legacy media ignored
-
Created a curated news blog on our website to highlight underreported stories
-
Helped citizens migrate to new platforms through tutorials and advocacy
By empowering citizens to control their media consumption, MST helped build resilience against propaganda and misinformation.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: If legacy media won’t tell the truth, build your own press.
-
Strategy: Partner with independent voices, decentralize your content, and keep your audience informed and engaged.
-
Impact: MST helped thousands of Canadians access truthful reporting and develop critical media literacy outside institutional narratives.
Example Ten
KICLEI and Maggie Hope Braun: Empowering Communities to Reclaim Local Governance
Overview
Maggie Hope Braun is a Canadian civic advocate and the founder of the KICLEI Canada Initiative—a grassroots movement dedicated to helping communities reclaim local control from top-down global programs such as the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). KICLEI stands for "Kicking the International Council Out of Local Environmental Initiatives," reflecting its mission to prioritize local decision-making over external influences.
What Happened
Drawing from her diverse upbringing—from a jungle village in New Guinea to island life in St. Lucia, and finally to small-town Ontario—Maggie developed a deep appreciation for nature, community, and cultural integrity. After studying ecosystem management in 2007, she began to question the global climate narratives promoted by organizations like the United Nations and recognized their growing influence in local Canadian policies.

Since 2009, Maggie has developed a strategic approach to advocacy, producing reports, meeting scripts, and council frameworks that empower communities to engage their local governments confidently. Through KICLEI, she offers tools and guidance to citizens aiming to protect local interests, strengthen democracy, and push back against unelected global influence.

Why It Matters
KICLEI's mission underscores the importance of localism in governance, emphasizing that decisions affecting Canadians should be made locally, reflecting the values, needs, and priorities of communities—not imposed by global agendas or external interests. By providing resources and support, KICLEI enables citizens to actively participate in their local governments, ensuring transparency, accountability, and community-driven initiatives.

How MST Got Involved
Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) has collaborated with KICLEI by promoting Maggie's seminars, sharing her educational materials, and participating in public events focused on local governance and environmental stewardship.MST has also featured KICLEI's tools and strategies in its resource library, supporting communities in their efforts to assert local autonomy and challenge external influences.
Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Empowering communities with knowledge and tools is essential for reclaiming local governance.
-
Strategy: Develop and disseminate accessible resources that enable citizens to engage effectively with their local governments.
-
Impact: KICLEI has inspired numerous Canadian communities to question external influences and advocate for decisions that reflect their unique values and needs.

How MST Led the Effort
MST handled all aspects of the event—from programming and logistics to communications and speaker coordination. The success of the conference proved what grassroots leadership can accomplish with conviction, volunteers, and community support.
Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: National strength begins with local relationships.
-
Strategy: Create in-person gatherings that combine education, strategy, and inspiration.
-
Impact: The Stronger Together Conference 2024 forged lasting personal and organizational alliances that continue to grow across the country.
Example Twelve
Exposing the Winnipeg Metro Region and Plan20-50: A Citizen-Led Victory for Local Autonomy
Overview
Throughout 2023 and 2024, Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) led an intensive public education and advocacy campaign targeting the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region (WMR) and its controversial Plan20-50.
This top-down regional framework proposed to centralize control over municipal planning across 18 municipalities under a shared regional development plan—with minimal public awareness or consent.

MST’s research, outreach, and public pressure triggered a wave of municipal withdrawals from the WMR, ultimately forcing the Manitoba government to pass Bills 3 and 4, enabling municipalities to exit the regional body legally. This campaign stands as one of MST’s most consequential victories to date.

What Happened
Although WMR and Plan20-50 were framed as tools for economic coordination and development, MST’s investigations revealed significant issues:

-
The plan transferred decision-making power away from locally elected councils
-
It enabled unelected bureaucrats to steer zoning, development, and land use
-
Municipal officials—many of whom initially supported the plan—admitted they had not read or fully understood its implications
MST’s Actions Included:

-
Hosting 8 public seminars across WMR municipalities, including in-person presentations and Q&A sessions
-
Delivering a comprehensive report exposing Plan20-50’s origins, intentions, and threats to local democracy
-
Creating leaflets and educational materials for residents, councillors, and media
-
Holding multiple Tuesday Zoom sessions to brief both citizens and municipal officials
-
Empowering ratepayers to confront their councils with facts, resulting in real political pressure
he result: a major shift in public awareness and municipal policy. Many WMR municipalities voted to withdraw from the organization. Bills 3 and 4 were introduced by the provincial government in direct response to this wave of resistance, allowing communities to reclaim their autonomy.

Why It Matters
This campaign showed what’s possible when citizens and local leaders are equipped with facts and speak with clarity and courage. It also illustrated the quiet threat of regionalism—a global trend that MST successfully exposed and countered at the grassroots level.

How MST Led the Effort
MST acted as the watchdog no one else would. While media remained silent and government messaging pushed Plan20-50 as progress, MST dissected its contents, shared the findings publicly, and provided the tools for municipalities to push back.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Bureaucratic overreach often hides in jargon—until someone reads the fine print.
-
Strategy: Investigate, educate, and amplify local voices before irreversible changes take root.
-
Impact: MST’s campaign helped restore local governance to dozens of Manitoba communities and demonstrated the power of informed civic resistance.
Example Thirteen

The sessions are free, open to the public, and archived so the knowledge can spread far beyond the initial audience.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: Community education doesn’t require institutions—just commitment and connection.
-
Strategy: Use consistent digital meetings to create momentum, spread truth, and unite people around shared goals.
-
Impact: MST’s Tuesday Zoom calls have educated thousands, created national collaborations, and given a platform to courageous voices that would otherwise go unheard.
Example Fourteen
TheTrueFactsC19.com Report: One Voice That Woke a Nation
Overview
In March 2021, a single Canadian citizen published a groundbreaking 89-page document titled Investigation into Criminal Allegations Concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic Response.
It was the first report of its kind in the world—an independently researched, evidence-based challenge to the legality and morality of Canada’s pandemic policies.

The report was released through www.TheTrueFactsC19.com, and it immediately struck a chord with millions. It exposed the overreach, contradictions, and devastating consequences of government actions that many Canadians had long suspected but couldn’t prove.

What Happened
Despite having no institutional backing, the report was downloaded, reprinted, and shared over 3 million times globally, with over 259,000 direct visits to the website. Citizens began handing it to police, mailing it to MLAs, MPs, and media outlets, and using it as a foundation for protest signs and public speeches.
The report sparked:

-
Protests across Canada, often held at police stations and government buildings
-
A grassroots demand for criminal investigations into pandemic-era decision-makers
-
Widespread awareness that transformed silent frustration into coordinated action
It also exposed the intolerance of the regime it challenged. The author—Ken Drysdale—faced police harassment and surveillance, revealing the extent to which Canadian institutions were willing to suppress dissent. But rather than back down, the momentum only grew.

How MST Got Involved
This report became the catalyst for the formation of Manitoba Stronger Together. Its impact and widespread circulation led to Ken Drysdale being appointed Chairperson of the Independent Commissioners for the National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) in 2023.

The document continues to serve as a cornerstone for MST’s education efforts. It’s frequently cited in Zoom calls, seminars, and public meetings, and remains a powerful example of what one determined citizen can accomplish.

Why It Matters
This was not a government report. It was not the work of a university think tank or corporate whistleblower. It was the product of one man’s refusal to stay silent—and it became the match that lit a fire across the nation.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: One courageous voice, armed with facts and conviction, can shake an entire system.
-
Strategy: Make your findings public, reproducible, and accessible. Let citizens carry the message.
-
Impact: The report launched a national movement, changed minds around the world, and revealed both the depths of government overreach—and the strength of Canadian resistance.
Example Fifteen
From a Letter to a Movement: The Birth of Manitoba Stronger Together
Overview
What began with a letter turned into a movement. In the wake of the release of the Investigation into Criminal Allegations Concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic Response, it became clear that Canadians were not only angry—they were ready to organize. Out of that momentum, Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) was born: a grassroots movement to unite citizens, educate communities, and take real action to restore democracy, accountability, and constitutional governance in Canada.

What Happened
After the initial report circulated across Canada and internationally, citizens began reaching out—not just to express gratitude, but to ask: What can we do next?

Recognizing this groundswell of interest, MST was formed to:

-
Build a framework for ongoing civic education
-
Host regular Zoom meetings and in-person events
-
Provide resources for community organizers, parents, and elected officials
-
Support whistleblowers, researchers, and independent voices
-
Act as a platform for connecting people across Manitoba—and beyond
From municipal planning battles to national inquiries, from local councils to federal election strategies, MST has grown into a hub of coordinated advocacy and grassroots activism.

Key Accomplishments Since Founding:

-
Hosted over 100 weekly educational Zoom calls
-
Launched the Stronger Together Conference
-
Developed detailed reports and presentations on threats to local governance (e.g., Plan20-50)
-
Inspired national initiatives, including the formation of the National Citizens Inquiry
-
Provided technical, legal, and moral support to citizens standing up in their own communities
Why It Matters
MST proves that lasting change begins with small steps: a letter, a conversation, a meeting of minds. It shows that grassroots movements can grow organically and powerfully when fueled by truth, service, and the desire to protect the next generation.

How MST Grew the Movement
MST was never about politics—it was about principles. It welcomed people of all backgrounds who shared a common concern for the future of Canada. Through education, outreach, and fearless communication, it created a trusted space where action and courage could thrive.

Takeaway for Advocates

-
Lesson: When the institutions fail, the people must organize.
-
Strategy: Build from the ground up. Be consistent. Stay transparent. Empower others.
-
Impact: MST has transformed thousands of concerned citizens into informed advocates, inspired a province-wide network, and laid the foundation for national renewal.
