Manitoba Municipal Election 2026

I Am a Voter

Why Your Municipal Vote Matters

Municipal governments make many of the decisions that affect your everyday life — roads, policing, water, zoning, by-laws, recreation, fire services, public works, and school funding. Yet municipal elections often have the lowest turnout of any level of government.

Your vote has more impact locally than anywhere else.

This section gives you the tools to make an informed, confident choice in the 2026 Manitoba Municipal Election.

Re: A local voter has invited you to share information on Manitoba Stronger Together

Dear {{Candidate Name}},

My name is {{Voter Name}}, and I live in {{Municipality/Area}}. I am currently considering my options for the upcoming Manitoba municipal election and I would like to learn more about each candidate.

Manitoba Stronger Together (MST) has created a non-partisan “I am a Candidate” page and a standardized candidate questionnaire. It allows all candidates to present their background, priorities, and approach to governance in a clear, comparable format for voters.

I am writing to ask if you would please take a few minutes to visit the MST candidate page and complete the questionnaire, including uploading your résumé and any other information you wish to share with voters.

MST Candidate Information Page:https://www.manitobastrongertogether.ca/i-am-a-candidate

MST is a non-partisan citizen group focused on educating Manitobans about how our governments work and helping voters make informed decisions. MST does not endorse or rank candidates; all responses are published as submitted so voters can compare everyone fairly.

Thank you for your time and for your willingness to serve our community.

Sincerely,{{Voter Name}}{{Voter Email}}
