David Stephan’s Story: A Fight for Health Freedom

The Stephan family’s journey began more than two decades ago when they developed EMPowerplus, a groundbreaking micronutrient supplement designed to support mental health naturally. After seeing extraordinary improvements in their own family members — particularly in managing bipolar disorder — they committed themselves to making this solution available to others in need.

However, their success soon put them in the crosshairs of Health Canada, which attempted to classify EMPowerplus as an unauthorized drug. Despite the fact that thousands of Canadians were benefiting from the supplement, Health Canada launched enforcement actions to try and remove it from the market.

In a hard-fought legal battle, the Stephan family prevailed in court, with the judge recognizing that TrueHope had saved lives and that Health Canada’s actions were unjustified. But the fight didn’t end there. In the years that followed, David and his family endured ongoing legal persecution, including a highly publicized and painful court case surrounding the tragic passing of their young son, Ezekiel.

Their story is one of resilience, faith, and the unwavering belief in the right of Canadians to choose natural health solutions without fear of government overreach.

About the Movie: Epiphany – The Truehope Story

The Stephan family’s incredible journey is now featured in the new documentary film Epiphany: The Truehope Story, directed by Todd Harris. The movie dives deep into their struggles, the legal attacks they faced, and the broader issues of health freedom in Canada.

Epiphany exposes how bureaucratic overreach can endanger innovation, silence alternative voices, and, most importantly, impact the lives of countless Canadians searching for real answers outside of the pharmaceutical model. It is a powerful, emotional, and inspiring film that sheds light on a story the mainstream media has largely ignored or distorted.

Don’t Miss This Important Conversation

David Stephan will share his family's incredible journey, insights from the front lines of the battle for medical freedom, and what Canadians must understand about the risks to their rights.

This is a must-attend event if you care about health freedom, truth, family rights, and the fight against government overreach.

#1 News of Week

Dr Trozzi and his part 2 of his three-part interview, Dr. Gary Davidson continues to discuss the process and findings of the Alberta COVID-19 Pandemic Data Review Task Force Report. Despite lacking subpoena power, the report uncovers critical errors in Alberta’s COVID-19 response, highlighting failures in governance, transparency, and decision-making. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a larger investigation.

Predictive modeling was a cornerstone of decision-making throughout the COVID-19 response, yet its accuracy and reliability were questionable from the start. Models created by figures like Neil Ferguson(WEF member) and David Fisman were used to justify harsh lockdowns and sweeping mandates. However, as history has shown with climate change models, predictions are often inaccurate, failing to account for real-world complexities.

#2 News of Week

The World Economic Forum (WEF) opened an investigation into founder Klaus Schwab after a whistleblower alleged financial and ethical misconduct, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Tuesday.

The WSJ reported that a whistleblower letter sent by current and former staff last week to the WEF board alleged that Schwab and his wife, Hilde Schwab, “mixed their personal affairs with the Forum’s resources.”

The whistleblower also alleged that the Schwabs funded luxury travel and services at the WEF’s expense, misused WEF property, and that Klaus Schwab asked junior employees to withdraw thousands of dollars from ATMs on his behalf.

The board opened its investigation during an emergency meeting on Sunday. The WEF’s Board of Trustees includes BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Jordan’s Queen Rania Al Abdullah and European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde as members. The WEF announced Monday that Vice Chairman Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, former CEO of Nestlé, will serve as interim chairman, and that it had established a search committee to find a future chair.

In a historic move, Minnesota lawmakers move to outlaw mRNA injections — classifying them as bioweapons subject to prosecution under the state’s weapons of mass destruction statute.

Minnesota Representative Shane Mekeland has introduced Bill HF3129, the “mRNA Bioweapons Prohibition Act,” to:  designate mRNA injections and products as weapons of mass destruction according to section 609.712 and to prohibit possession or distribution of the mRNA injections and products in the state.

THIS WEEKS READ

A Mini-Report from the National Citizens Inquiury is this weeks read. It is an excerpt from the original report published in November of

Mini Report Overview:

7.2.5. Impact of the Measures on the Education System

Introduction

The Government response to the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted nearly every facet

of life, including education. This is a global phenomenon, but the focus in this report is specifically

on Canada, where the education system, from primary school to university, has been deeply

affected by the pandemic and the ensuing government-imposed measures.

When we speak about the education system, we must remember that we‘re not simply discussing

infrastructure, textbooks, and school buses. Rather, at the heart of this system are precious young

individuals—children and adolescents whose dreams, aspirations, and futures have been entrusted

to it. It is their right to have an environment that promotes learning and creativity, while also offering them safety, stability, and the means to grow holistically. They are not mere numbers on an

enrolment sheet but unique individuals with their own potential and vulnerabilities.

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it‘s crucial to acknowledge that the education system

completely failed due to the restrictions placed upon it by the government and the teachers unions.

The purpose of this system extends beyond the imparting of academic knowledge, such as reading,

writing, and arithmetic. It is equally tasked with safeguarding the mental, emotional, and social

wellbeing of its students, protecting them from harm both inside and outside the classroom.

Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented actions taken by the government during the pandemic,

the system was strained beyond its capacity. While a half-hearted attempt to continue providing

education through online platforms was initiated, it fell short in shielding its students from the

mental, emotional, and developmental impacts of this global crisis. Hence, it is vital to recognize

these shortcomings and work tirelessly towards addressing them, keeping in mind that the lives and futures of our young ones hinge on these actions.

The actions taken by the government were unnecessary, based the testimony of witnesses who

stated that the information concerning which populations were actually at risk was available and

known to public health as early as March of 2020, when the declaration of a pandemic was made.

Further, the actions taken to contain the spread of the virus were ineffective and created a cascade

of changes and challenges for both educators and students.

Canadian education had to shift gears rapidly, moving from in-person teaching and learning to

online modalities. Teachers had to quickly adapt to new ways of delivering lessons, while students

had to adjust to learning from home, often with varying degrees of success. Not only has this

transformation impacted the quality and access to education, but it has created significant mental

health implications for children and young adults, and created a new group of

“unschooled“ children who are at risk of never acquiring even a basic education.

The following sections will examine the impact of the government‘s response to COVID-19 on

various levels of education in Canada. This will include a review of how the sudden transition to

online learning has deepened the digital divide, affected academic progress and access to school-

provided nutrition, and disrupted tertiary education.
