We have just finished watching the full YouTube recording of the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region (WMR) Board meeting held on January 22, 2026 — and what we witnessed left us shocked, amazed, angered, and frankly struggling to believe what we were hearing.

This Tuesday, Manitoba Stronger Together is pleased to welcome Councillor Andy Kuczynski (Ward 2) and Councillor Mark Miller (Ward 3) from the Rural Municipality of Springfield for an educational, behind-the-scenes conversation about what it means to serve as a municipal councillor — and what it takes to run a successful campaign.

This week, Manitoba Stronger Together is honoured to welcome Sandra Saint-Cyr — a veteran Manitoba educator with a 40-year career in public education — for an inspiring and practical conversation about parental involvement, traditional values, and grassroots solutions in our school system.

Tomorrow night we’re trying something new — and we think you’ll find it both fascinating and practical. Ken will host a live, unscripted interview with an artificial intelligence language model, commonly known as ChatGPT. For the conversation, we’ll simply refer to it as “the Model.” The focus is municipal power — where it actually sits, why citizens often feel ignored, and what you can do now to be ready for the October 2026 municipal elections.

On Tuesday evening, October 28, 2025, more than 150 residents crowded into the RM of St. Clements council chambers (with many more online) for the public hearing on an 80-unit, 200–250 resident low income multi-family development proposed by Schinkel Properties, immediately north of the Narol Fire Hall on Henderson Highway.
